Housing SEPP | UDIA TV: The Signature Series featuring DPIE

    | 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm UDIA TV: The Signature Series

One of the critical issues currently facing NSW is the need for a variety of housing options to meet the needs of different people. To drive more housing supply and meet these increasing needs, the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) is continuing to review and consolidate its state policies related to diverse, affordable, seniors, caravan and manufactured housing. As a result, the NSW Government has developed a new Housing State Environmental Planning Policy (Housing SEPP). This new policy, a draft of which has recently been exhibited, aims to deliver more diverse and affordable housing types in NSW. UDIA TV is delighted to welcome Luke Walton, Executive Director, Housing and Economic Policy to share with us the work to date on the draft Housing SEPP and provide detail on how the policy will support industry to deliver the diverse and affordable housing that NSW needs. Luke will also talk to us about the relationship of the policy to other reforms being led by DPIE.
